My Dad encouraged me so much with this today...

This is who Almighty God chooses to be with... WOW!

"For thus says the high and lofty One–He Who inhabits eternity, Whose name is Holy: I DWELL in the high and holy place, but WITH HIM ALSO WHO IS OF A THOROUGHLY PENITENT AND HUMBLE SPIRIT, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the thoroughly penitent [bruised with sorrow for sin].

For I will not contend forever, neither will I be angry always, for [if I did stay angry] the spirit [of man] would faint and be consumed before Me, and [My purpose in] creating the souls of men would be frustrated."
(What a compassionate God! ...that there is a limit to His discipline of us. He does not want me to faint or become frustrated.)

"The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.] Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him."

(Encouraged. That in this trial, I must keep my conscience clean before God: doing things His way. Obedient to the impressions of His Spirit. And that I stay penitent and truly humble. May God work in me the willing and doing of His good pleasure.)
